Welcome to the official

 Post 392 Website

Welcome to the Official Website for Hudson Post 392, The American Legion, Inc. This site is registered with the Department of North Carolina and with the Nation Department of The American Legion. It is my hope that this will be a better service to you, our American Legion members. Please let me know of any changes that you would like to see.

Our Mission Statement:

We, the members of Hudson Post 392, are committed to serving and contributing to our community and assisting the veterans, their families and the youth that are a part of our community. We strive, also, to raise awareness of our POW's and MIA's. Our love for community has earned us the distintion of being chosen as the Hudson Community Development Association's Civic Organization of the Year in 2008.

Our Post Charter:

Hudson Post 392 received it's Temporary Charter in June of 1947 and was granted it's full Charter on May 22, 1948. We received our Supplemental Charter of Incorporation in October of 2009. We hope to continue to be an important part of our community just as we were more than 60 years ago when our post was chartered.

Welcome New Members:

We want to welcome all of our new 2009-2010 members and thank them for choosing Hudson Post 392 as their new Ameican Legion home. We also want to thank each one of you for your service to this GREAT NATION!

Ronald McDonald House Can Tab Drive

Please, remember to bring in all of the drink can tabs that you are able to collect or save to each meeting. The Department of North Carolina American Legion has partnered with the Ronald McDonald House in Durham, NC in the form of collecting drink can tabs. The tabs collected from a post are sold and the money is donated to the Ronald McDonald House in your post's name. The Ronald McDonald House helps provide rooms for the parents of patients at Duke University Childrens Hospital to stay in so they can be near there child during their hospital stay. There is a small nominal fee for the rooms, however, many families cannot afford this fee and the money received from the can tab sales helps to pay these fees for those that may be less fortunate.
